Laine du Nord is a single ply knitting yarn made of PURE NEW WOOL from France. Because of a special twist technique the yarn does not warp while knitting. Laine du Nord is very suitable for children who are learning how to knit. This product meets the high standards of the UNE-EN 71-2, UNE-EN 71-3 and Öko-Tex 100. Every step of the production process takes place in Western Europe.
Our Laine du Nord knitting yarn is 1,5 to 2 mm thick and is sold in hanks of 100gr ≈ 200m. This wool is coloured in hanks which keeps the wool voluminous. The colours are inspired by traditional French colours.
