Our quality Landwool is a single ply knitting yarn made of PURE NEW WOOL from France. Because of a special twist technique the yarn does not warp while knitting. Landwool is suitable for children who are learning how to knit, because it is a single ply yarn. Furthermore Landwool is used to knit oversized clothing with thick knitting needles and let the clothing felt in the washing machine, which makes it shrink. This product meets the high standards of the UNE-EN 71-2, UNE-EN 71-3 and Öko-Tex 100. Every step of the production process takes place in Western Europe.
Our Landwool is 3 to 4mm thick and is sold in hanks of 100gr ≈ 100m. Landwool is coloured in hanks which keeps the wool voluminous. The colours are inspired by traditional French colours.

Because every screen is different the colours you see here will be slightly different from the real colours of this material. For an accurate image you can order a sample card. Wool is a natural product which means that small colour differences between Woolfelt from different dye-lots can occur.
